Peace. Muirgen had traveled to the ocean and made her peace with Farriage. She was free, and whole once more. What she had been running from all this time was now long behind her. Almost, at any rate.
While at the sea a little seagull had told her of a pack culminating in the mountains. A pack whose name she knew by heart. Highvalley.
She hadn’t stopped running in the direction of the mountains since she’d heard. Not hunger nor thirst had slowed her down. Even as she stopped to stare at the magnificent mountain range stretching out before her beyond the river, she still didn’t feel them. The bird had not lied. There was the scent of a pack’s border before her. Thought she didn’t know Highvalley by scent, her long deceased mate’s words echoed in her head.

Today was the day she’d officially be a steward. Muirgen took a deep breath, attempting to steel her nerves for what came next. Today she was meeting her master, and not only was he a highblood, but he was none other than Rodwen’s own son: Vladimir.
She stepped out, looking around the main den site attempting to spot him. The sleek gray she-wolf wasn’t sure whether she should be expecting the worst or hoping for the best when she introduced herself. All she knew was that today was meant for them to get to know each other, and possibly for her to get her first orders. The thought of it all almost unnerved her, but she shook her head. She had committed to this, and she was determined to prove herself no matter what this highblooded wolf threw at her.
At last she spotted a wolf that fit the description she was given, and she approached. She bowed her head respectfully, and was careful not to draw to close to him.
